Of late many new talented actors have made their entry into Bollywood. A number of forthcoming Hindi movies are casting new stars over established actors since their movies often get good collection.
In Addition youth oriented movies demand young actors. A lot of new actors in Bollywood have started their career successfully in Hindi films.
Shahid Kapoor is one such young actor who attracted the masses with the handsome boy look in debut film Ishq Vishk Pyaar Vyaar. Many his later movies didn’t succeed and it was in Jab We Met starring Kareena Kapoor that his career met with success. The gifted young actor proved that he could hold his own in the much talked about film Kaminey. His upcoming Hindi films are Milenge Milenge along side Kareena Kapoor and Mausam along side Sonam Kapoor, which is directed by his father.
Smart and charismatic, Ranbir Kapoor, the son of veteran actor Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh wasn’t a success with first film Saawariya in 2007. Nevertheless Ranbir was chosen for the Filmfare trophy in the category of Best Male New actor for Saawariya.
His next offering Bachna Ae Haseeno managed to do good business at the box office and found favor among film critics. Wake Up Sid and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani were commercially successful even though both films got mixed responses. His 2010 projects are the recently released Rajneeti and Anjaana Anjaani with Priyanka Chopra.
Abhay Deol belongs to the talented bunch of rising actors who is known for his extra-ordinary selection of Hindi movies.
Not like the typical Bollywood protagonist, his chosen first film was Socha Na Tha in 2005. The movie could not garner much enthusiasm with the public. His film Oye Lucky Lucky Oye released in 2008 was successful at the box office which also brought him good responses.
Anurag Kashyap’s Dev D proved that Abhay Deol was an upcoming Bollywood actor to look out for. He will be starring in forthcoming Hindi movies Rajshri Ojha’s Aisha and Zoya Akhtar’s Running with the Bulls.
