Star Trek is a superb science fiction action movie, and fans of the series will be impressed by the depth of character portrayed in the cast re-enacting characteristics of the beloved original series, from Hikaru Sulu played by John Cho (Harold and Kumar escape from Guantanamo Bay), and a very impressive Anton Yelchin (Terminator: Salvation) who plays Chekov complete with his Russian accent, the well loved Scotty is played by Simon Pegg (How to make friends and alienate people, Shaun of the dead) with an equally impressive Scottish accent, not to forget that the legendary Leonard Nimoy himself is also in this movie.
Who would like this movie: Fans of the original Star Trek series, of course, are most likely to enjoy this film and get the most out of it.
I expect that the religiously obsessed sci-fi geeks will nitpick the questionable science, the time-travel element, the absence of anyone using the Jeffries Tube, and the fact that young Kirk listens to the Beastie Boys at one point.
But on the whole, the goal of the movie isn’t meant to see how well JJ Abrams can satisfy a couple of nerds sitting in the front row of the theater. It’s supposed to be fun, and (gasp!) accessible to a wider audience. As pure entertainment, Star Trek succeeds.
People always get confused while they have to prefer one website among several to Download Star Trek (2009) or any of their favorite movies.
